I gave up on MCU after seeing Age of Ultron in the cinema. I’ve never bothered watching any more of it until She Hulk and I know I’m missing a lot of stuff when I watch it but I still really enjoyed it! I agree with this secret simply because the fandom spaces for the various shows and films would be so much better if they weren’t full of people who only watched because they felt they’d be penalised elsewhere in the franchise for missing something. It’s great to have tie ins and connectivity but MCU has reached the point nothing can stand on its own, there’s no hope of attracting new fans, and the old fans are more resentful with each new thing they didn’t want to watch.
