That was my initial thought, but it's 4 months down the line and it's getting worse not better. :/

Not all surgeries are successful, but "doesn't feel right" isn't going to get medical attention. Keep a symptom diary, be as specific as possible, try to look for patterns, then take that to your doctor with a list of questions. If they don't listen, go to a different doctor or ask for a referral to a specialist in whatever area this is. If there's various different symptoms, seek help for them separately as well as together, starting with whatever has the most impact on you right now.
