But Andy and Nile’s relationship drives the narrative and it’s the central emotional focus of the movie, or hell Andy’s entire tragic and angsty past with Qynh, like m/m ships get built on far, far less. The only reason those ships are not more popular is because the fandom wants m/m and not f/f, which is fine but to sit there and claim that there’s not ‘enough’ f+f interaction or story to facilitate more f/f in the fandom is ludicrous and entirely indicative of what the above anon is talking about.
