Saying that every women and every men in a series (that is meant to have women and men that look like pretty women and pretty men) looks like a women is trashing the art, for sure.

That feels more to me like someone just pointing out that the characters look androgynous to them, not that they’re saying that’s a bad thing. I could be wrong idk.

If you mean every character looks androgynous, that's fine, but this was never stated. And besides, they really don't unless you aren't familiar with anime in the slightest, but whatever.

I don’t think they look androgynous or like women, personally. And I’m very familiar with anime, having been a fan since the 80s.

I just didn’t think it was necessarily an insult for someone to say characters look like that to the. But again, I could be wrong, and it could very well be an insult. And in that case, I wouldn’t be down for anyone insulting the artstyle because I quite like it.

It does seem to me like they were implying that the art is "samey" enough so that all the men look like women - which, if you play the game, you know isn't a fact. They don't behave, move, speak or act in ways that make them look like women in any way (even if their models/art are meant to look androgynous because the more money the merrier). So I got worked up over people talking about things they don't know for the sake of trolling.
