I was walking home and some guy kept wanting to carry my groceries for me. At first I thought he was just being nice but he started to get really pushy about it and following me after I told him no thank you the first time so now I'm glad I told him no. Ugh.

OMFG.
I had a guy actually TAKE SOMETHING OUT OF MY HAND at a store, going 'you shouldn't be carrying something that heavy! (implied 'little girl like you!) and I had to basically wrestle it back out of his grip.
DO NOT FUCKING WANT.
I'm glad he backed off in the end. Jeez.

the closest thing to that that happened to me was some homeless guy saw me carrying groceries that were a lot heavier than the ones I had today and he was all "your husband shouldn't make you do that" and I go "You must have me confused with some other woman, I'm not married" and he looked like his brain shorted out. He was probably mentally ill.

Had this happen to me for a bit when I was a poor young girl carrying heavy stuff around. Which wasn't always bad, but then I became a little less poor and at my office job they barely let me carry a cup without freaking out like "this thing?!?! is so heavy?!?!? you're gonna pass out?!?!" .
