I especially don’t see any reason Robin would have to be with Nancy to make a Steddie fic work out. Steve isn’t with Nancy currently anyway.

There isn't any reason whatsoever but a lot of people just really like the idea of the four of them being a big gay friend group. at least I assume that's why the whole "fruity foursome" thing is so popular
