Me too. It's a while since I watched it but my memories of watching the show when I was a kid are that it didn't move so I was really surprised to read the other day (when I fell down a Wikihole) that it was supposed to move. It's just it didn't work most of the time so ended up being a static fake head rather than one with moving eyes etc.
