Thank you for understanding, because it really is infuriating.


Considering Cloud is one of my favorite characters in the game(he and Tifa are honestly some of my favorites in all of FF), it’s really annoying to see so many spin-off works depict him so off. It’s almost like Cloud himself writes his characterization in these works, so he can actually come off as the stone-cold badass he’s trying to make himself out to be. Instead of the tryhard dork he really is that isn’t taken seriously by any of his friends, allies, or enemies when he tries to project that outward persona.

His characterization in Kingdom Hearts especially always bugged me. At least the remake took his original characterization back on track. For now, who can say for the future. But fingers crossed!
