Aren't most of the first names in HP just normal English names? Unless of course you name your kid Draco or Sirius...

Not if you're not living in England.

Have seen kids named Harry, Hermine, Molly etc.
Those arent common modern german names for kids and the connection is very clear. Same goes for other very obvious fandom names, like Arwen or Coraline

Molly is a pretty normal name in most English speaking countries. And Harry was, and is still not unheard of. Hermoine though? Not so much.

I still think both are very pretty sounding, but I get where you’re coming from. Especially because even if they sound pretty, it’s still kinda cruel to name your child something so extra. Same with most names that only exist in fiction.
