I'd say the main problem with it is that it's painfully obvious that season 1 is just a setup which the showrunners don't really care about and want to get over with asap. I expect the story will improve once it gets to the parts the showrunners actually want to do. But I'm not gonna watch that because the lackluster season 1 has left me uninterested.
