I'd like a story from Lydia Wickham's pov but I have two requirements:
1) She should be widowed.
Wickham's unit got killed to the last man at Waterloo.
2) She must be a flightly flirt. I hate that she's replaced by a modern woman who's read P+P.

I got the story for free from Audible but I'm struggling to finish it.

One day I'd love to read a story from Lydia's POV where:
1) She is widowed when Wickham's unit is killed to the last man at Waterloo.
2) She is still a flighty flirt and not a modern woman who completely rewrites society norms.
3) P+P doesn't exist in universe.

Mainly #3. It's so off-putting.
