I HATE multi fandom drabble collections! Even if they’re longer fics, I still hate them. Why not just post them to their respective fandoms? Like, I’d totally read your A/J drabble or fic if I could get to it but I am not scrolling through 300 chapters of other fandoms to find it. And I hate that I can’t know the rating for my ship or fandom in those things.

I hate these and avoid them. Even when they're single fandom, but especially when they're crossover-y abominations. And that thing where they're tagging fifty zillion tropes and characters that barely show up in their story is usually a pretty good tip off that it's bad.

I've occasionally wondered if that stuff is not written by fans at all, but rather by people who disapprove of the lack of censorship on the AO3, and are trying to clog the searches with as many garbage results as possible.

i dont know why, but this reminded me of this person who literally, in the Detroit: Become Human tag, posted a 20-something word babble about how their twitter account got suspended because they told a homophobe to kill themselves.

It's not super common but i cannot STAND it when people treat AO3 like a blogging platform. There's places like Dreamwidth for a reason!
