I used to love the World Cup and I do enjoy the spectacle but yeah, much like most people here, the human rights violations and general feelings of "World Cup great, but FIFA evil" have really put a damper on any real enthusiasm I might have once had.
Also, I haven't paid attention to football like I used to in years. I barely know any players or where the NTs stand in ranks and how well they've done in friendlies leading up to WC.
Will likely watch a few games when I visit my parents house for Thanksgiving
