I can't think of any examples offhand but it sounds like something I would want to read.

I don't see how it's "betraying the feminist cause."

OP

I feel like that because it's very much playing into the "oh, women want X thing which is bad", which, of course it's fantasy, so whatever, but I just feel like I'm not supposed to like that. Like if B is actually excited that A kidnapped them.

Anyway, it's silly, but I'm glad I'm not the only one who wants to read this!

Definitely not betraying the feminist cause! If anything, buying into "stupid women can't tell the difference between fiction and reality" is doing that.

“If anything, buying into "stupid women can't tell the difference between fiction and reality" is doing that.”

I don’t think that’s what OP is doing, though. So this is a pretty backhanded way of “reassuring” them.

OP you're not saying anything close to "all women secretly want this" you're saying "there are women out there as crazy as men" and that's equality.

Sounds fun to me!

The ERASED fandom has a nice little vein of this - and yes, I love it. It's a murder mystery fandom dealing with a serial killer who targets children, with a bit of time travel but it's not at the forefront, and the killer is obsessed with the protagonist.

Naturally, ship ensued.

I would recommend reading the manga / watching the anime before diving in to the fanfic, but AO3 has some really twisted, delicious fic for the pairing. One warning, ALWAYS heed the tags!

OP

I'm gonna have to check this out now! Thank you!

ERASED is amazing and I would recommend reading the manga anyways. And I always always ALWAYS recommend reading it BEFORE watching the anime to get the full experience. The anime makes it so fking obvious who the killer is while in the manga I was at least somewhat surprised/shocked.

I remember a parody one/two page comic where the yandere keeps going through the trope of tortuing her target, but the target keeps vocally supporting it. Yandere eventually rapes the target, saying "now I'm going to have your children!". The target says "oh yes, I've wanted children for a very long time!"

Last panel is of the yandere and her happy supportive target at the hospital after the yandere gave birth. The yandere is dazed, but says "huh."

Link? This sounds hilarious

I don't think I could pull it up, sorry. It was floating through tumblr years ago.

Thank you secret maker!

That's the exact face lol

I have no anime or manga examples, but I feel like 'You' and 'Hannibal' had shades of this. And I feel like I have seen some in Serial Killer AU fic, where A is a serial killer that gets obsessed with B and then B also turns out to be a serial killer and they live murderously ever after.

Yeah, I would definitely say You Season 2 (and 3?) is this.

there's some BL manga with this plotline e.g. Tojikome chatte mo iinda yo?

basically this hikikomori guy is obsessed with a delivery guy and one day blurts out that he wants to take him captive and the delivery guy is like "yes let's do it sounds like fun!! Lock me up!!"
