I don't like Richard much, beyond his treatment of Adele, there was how he handled everything to do with Derek and Addison, the Chief of Surgery nonsense, how he behaved after being electrocuted, his weird relationship with Meredith, his bad relationships with his family, lying about his drinking, and how he pressures the people around him to do things they don't think are right, among other things.

But since Adele no longer recognized Richard at all and started a relationship with someone else, I wasn't too upset with him sleeping with Catherine, especially since Catherine knew the whole situation (and I feel like Adele's health coverage probably at least partly depended on her being married to Richard).

And Richard didn't know about Ellis' condition until she was brought into the hospital in season 2 (Meredith was keeping it a secret). He did go and visit her in her care center for a while, though.

Yeah, i get why people didn't care. I just found it detestable (but, lol, I also don't like Catherine). But thank you for unlocking all the other horrible things he did just in the hospital. and thanks for correcting me about ellis.

Yeah, I get that. And Catherine can be a real piece of work. I think he's done something terrible to every single woman in his life. Sure thing, there is a lot of canon to keep track of for this show, it's pretty easy to misremember something (I kept thinking that Alex and Meredith slept together, but what I was doing was sort of mashing together her sleeping with George and that alternate reality episode where Meredith and Alex were engaged).

Every one! From what I hear Maggie is continuing his legacy of bad decisions (Meredith has a truly wild amount of half-sisters she was surprised with).

Yes, yes, she is, while alternately being goaded on or shamed by Richard, pretty arbitrarily in my opinion.

Oh, God, the amount half-sisters she has and there is one out there somewhere with a family (Molly, Lexie's sister, who had a baby at Seattle Grace) that didn't seem to be around when Thatcher died. Plus, Meredith had her 'Twisted Sister', Christina; I think she was supposed to have a similar sister dynamic with Sadie, 'Die' to Meredith's 'Death'; and Amy, her sister-in-law.

It so weird that with all of that, there's technically no grey in Grey's Anatomy anymore.
