What is everyone doing this weekend?

I am adopting my new puppy tomorrow! I am super stressed about it but hope it is just puppy blues. I am visiting my sister so we'll finish decorating her house.

Good luck with the puppy! I myself had to give three puppies to adoption, so I'm always glad to hear that people are adopting puppies to a good home. :)

I have what seems like a bit of a cold, and I'm trying to decide whether to hope it continues so I have an excuse to skip work on Sunday or to hope it doesn't because, well, I don't like it. (There's a 99.9% chance I got it from my brother, who tested negative for COVID at least twice last week, but I have an abundance of home tests so I'll check tomorrow anyway.)

Mainly trying to avoid my family members because there's drama going on and I just don't have the patience to deal with it.

Other than that, I need to do some cleaning and laundry, I want to do some reading (I'm behind on my book challenge) and I'm thinking of making cookies.

Wooooo puppy! :D

I'm still trying to get my new bun to trust me enough to take food from my hand without bars between us, so there will be more of sitting on the floor holding out my hand this weekend I'm sure. -_- Poor thing has plenty of reasons to hate and fear humans, so I didn't expect this to go fast and easy.

Tomorrow is a Pokemon Go raid event and I hopefully will get out and downtown or something for that (good chance to see the holiday decorations too). Depending on how much I feel up to, might start reorganizing the living room or try on some older cosplays I haven't worn for a couple years, since I got a potential lead on a MAGFest room after all and my friends are doing groups. :D
