Nobody said the world of Pokémon is real. But the games are real life games people play, and OP doesn’t like getting rushed or spoiled on them. So it’s very weird of you to say “because Pokémon isn’t real” as if the games are not important to OP. When OP made the secret just to vent that they love these games and their friend frequently ruins it for them. And these games are clearly not “fantasy dogfighting habits” to them, or any other fans. That’s a strange dismissive comment that came out of nowhere.

I do agree that the guy is probably a better friend outside of Pokémon, though. If he’s OP’s best friend, I’d assume that’s the reason.
