My favorite Christmas Carol is The Holly and the Ivy, but the new reverend at our church has banned it for being "too Pagan". I feel very unChristian over this. He's not a big fan of Christmas carols in general, it seems. I wish him three ghosts for Christmas, I truly do.

Oh, that sounds insufferable. I hope your reverend will get pushback from other people in the congregation who don't want someone policing whether their Christmas carols are "Christian enough" by some nonsense standard.
