i only hate tik tok, and social media trying to be like tik tok because everyone keeps stealing sounds. i wanna know where it originally came from!!! i would like to like their stuff too!! it's making me think less of even well-known creators.

I blame tumblr culture for the start of the reblog without acknowledgement trend.

are you talking about when tumblr takes from other sites? nah, that was no different from lj. deviantart was probably the worst for in-site stealing/tracing. tumblr reblogs always included the source OP on my dash.

This might be a 'it depends on the fandom' thing because in some of mine they never did and these weren't small fandoms.
