Fanfiction does nothing for me. I have nothing against it, but when I ship something I need to see it on screen/read it in the book for it to have any sort of emotional impact on me. Which makes things really difficult when I ship two characters who barely interact or aren't canon at all (looking at you Claire Redford/Leon Kennedy). I don't know why I am the way that I am, but I hate it.
