Do you work flat on a table, or do you have a drawing/drafting table type thing?

I’m also in my early 30s and have similar issues with my neck when doing things like collage and embroidery. I’ve found that having an elevated and/or slanted work surface helps.

I’ve seen proper slanting drawing surfaces for cheap on Craigslist and they also seem very DIY-able. (Most of the time I just use a wide, short cardboard box as a desk-top platform.)
