This is one of the worst aspects of call-out culture when it's turned on a marginalized person as brutally and unfairly as Isabel Fall was treated. It silences not only her, but so many other people who saw what happened to her, realize they are not yet strong enough to face that if it happened to them, so they just...don't write. Stay in the closet. And the world is cheated out of the stories they would have told.

I feel you, OP, and I don't think your fears are unjustified, sadly. Just know that there are people out there who very much want to see your work, when you're ready.
