ROTFL, but you've got a good point.

I used to think I was all about plot, and then my younger sibling got me to play this arcade game that is all "you control character A and the computer controls character B and they fight." No justification for it whatsoever. And yet, I had a blast. And you have to do that mostly on reflex and instinct, it's not like the medium even gives you time to think, during. But it was colorful and varied and well-made in its own way, and apart from having fun with it, it helped me relate to why other people like this sort of thing. And made me less dismissive of plotless media in general.
