Oh yeah, the alcohol thing and the Traveller. Like, I find this especially hilarious because there are several characters with the smaller male body type who get treated like adults and some of them do get alcohol without problem. First and foremost Venti, who actually looks younger than Aether, imo. Okay, might be archon magic convincing people I his case (also pretty sure Diluc knows who he is) but Kazuha, who is not a native to Mondstadt got wasted there as well. So yeah. Idk, I'll just pretend the Traveller never bothered to get a Teyvat approved ID or something.

(It all has meta reasons, the player character not being allowed to drink, obviously, but it's still silly in game.)

Yeah. I kind of got the impression that they're trying to impart a moral lesson to their adult players about the Harm Alcohol Does To Society And Everyone Who's Counting On You, considering how often they make up a problem with drinking. The "help me, I lost something important because I was drunk" commission we get over and over. Diona's whole "I can't respect my father and it's alcohol's fault!" (That's at least sort of played for laughs, but entirely at her expense.) And then the one where you're supposed to rat out Nimrod by taking his tab to the nun.

But considering how particular Mondstat(ians?) are about honor, and how sensitive residents of Liyue are about not giving offense ... it was really jarring that the Traveler has all this business in taverns and they go way out of their way to be like "but NO drinks for you. Here's the apple juice and the vinegar, little boy." When in every other regard they're like "Oh, esteemed Traveler, would you risk your life for us again? Please and thank." :/

Seriously. Drinking in a video game is like eating over the radio. And they're not shy about associating the Fatui with fire-water ...

Nah, but you're right about Venti and Kazuha. While I'd kind of discounted the former for being an actual god, I'd completely forgotten about Kazuha.
