Ivor the engine is wonderful ( As is anything made by Smallfilms and Oliver Postgate).

I only remember Ivor the Engine as something that was on Channel 4 in the early morning back in the 90s. Sometimes we'd wake up before mum, and the choices on TV were Ivor the Engine or the news.
