He isn't my favorite Doctor and yeah, his entire era of DW is a bit overhyped. No idea where the whole 'it'll be gay again' thing comes from, maybe because RTD is back as showrunner? I'm not in the fandom. I have seen DT in a play in the West End recently though, and he was excellent in that.

'Good'? Holy heck, that play did me in emotionally. He was incredible in it (as were the other cast members) and I came to the comments solely to say: while I agree his Doctor was overhyped and I in no way understand his return after Thirteen, you cannot genuinely criticise him on acting alone. He is a very good actor. Just maybe not a great Doctor.
