I really want to see it. Cate Blanchett is a goddess. But I've heard the plot is a little iffy, so I haven't watched yet.

I think the plot is less iffy than that it doesn't signpost its perspective. it expects you to watch and do some degree of critical thinking, which is...not the vibe for a lot of people so it feels iffy.

The plot is rock solid. If by "iffy" you mean "challenging" - then yes. As the anon above says, it requires critical thought beyond good vs. bad.
