He was Scrooge McDuck in the DuckTales reboot, for what that's worth.

Didn't see it (I had very little investment in the original series) but I freely admit to being amused by the gag casting of Catherine Tate as Magica DeSpell. The two do seem to have good comic interplay, though, if that production of Much Ado About Nothing was any indication.

I never watched the original series, or really any of the Disney Afternoon cartoons except when babysitting. But I heard good things about the reboot, so I watched it and loved it! And Catherine Tate was amazing as Magica too! I’m not sure their comic interplay on Ducktales compares to their performances in Much Ado About Nothing though. That’s a high bar.
