I am so behind on Detective Conan stuff... I've been meaning to catch up but there is just so much, what with the movies, Wild Police Story and Zero's Tea Time in addition to main Detective Conan. I like Amuro just fine but christ alive, two (2) spin-offs feels like work.

Shinichi/Shiho isn't really my ship, even though I vaugely like the idea of it, but I love Haibara very much! She has such a fun dry personality; I love all her backstory stuff with her sister and the Black Org.

By now, there's just too much subterfuge and lies between Shinichi/Ran that I can't see how they could ever work. Imagine being Ran after it's all over. Even if I understand why Shinichi had to do it, how could you not feel violated and betrayed?

But I also shipped Haibara/Conan more or less from the get go. They share what is most likely the most traumatic and formative experience of their life together and their personalities mesh well together. It makes a lot of sense, I think.

Though I'm kinda burnt out on Black Org stuff as well. Or I was when I stopped reading a few years back. Nothing ever changes! And it didn't feel like there was a clear direction for any of the Black Org storyline to go.

At the end I still read the Black Org stories to make sure I didn't miss anything plot-related, but didn't enjoy them anymore :/

I was skipping everything else that didn't include either Heiji or Kaito Kid.

I'm here for the second part of this secret. I just want Detective Conan to end already and close out the narrative already. I was really invested in the characters!
