nah, you've got a point. I've talked to a lot of artists who've been doing digital art for quite a few years who absolutely refuse to use "cheating" brushes. they've had a hard enough time fighting for "digital art is real art" that they don't want to give anyone ammunition to use against them. I get it. there's a line to be drawn somewhere but idk where it would be.

AYRT - It's funnier because techniques like engraving, tracing and stamping are older than digital art itself but somehow it feels like cheating to do it on PS. Maybe it's because we got used to drawing digitally back when cheating brushes were less prevalent. It's like choosing to handwrite a letter or document instead of using a typewriter because calligraphy is important somehow.
