Yeah, mere horror is not the same as spooky and atmospheric. A lot productions seem to confuse the two, but horror doesn't come with the same sense of magic and wonder that spooky stuff does. Wonder is the flipside of spooky, and flipping between the two is what makes the genre really work for me.
