I love Rickie as a ship, but you’re not wrong that she isn’t a developed character. Yet. I feel like that will change.

But I also like Ronance, so I get it, I think. Unless I want to read a threesome/moresome fic, I don’t like fic where a lot of time is dedicated to a person who’s in a rival ship, or any time dedicated to the rival ship. Love triangles can be good in fic, but not always. And I hate infidelity in fic almost as much as I hate it irl, so I really hate it that’s why the rival ship character is given so much focus in a ship.

I’m fine with people putting Vickie in Ronance fic as long as she’s just their platonic friend. Same with Nancy in Rickie fic. Robin is my Stranger Things fandom bicycle, and I’m a big multishipper. But I don’t like the ship streams to cross in fic most of the time.
