It’s not pathetic and infantilizing. You seriously need to stop projecting your serious issues about your lack of emotional intelligence onto everyone else before you make more of an ass out of yourself than you already have. People choose different ways to take care of readers. Just because you don’t like something doesn’t mean it’s wrong. Your just a snob who looks down on anything you don’t personally like and acts like people are literally wrong for doing it. But really it’s just different and you’re too egotistical to realize your preferences aren’t objectively correct. You’re also a hypocrite if you tag comprehensively to make sure readers don’t get hurt after you threw a pissy fit over how people shouldn’t be treated as fragile. So either you think taking care of readers is good or not. You didn’t seem pro-warnings with your bs about fic not being a war zone. But now you’re all for taking care of readers when it comes to the way you like. Tagging. But if someone so much as says “take care of yourselves” then they’re being condescending and infantilizing. You just don’t personally like it and that doesn’t mean anything about it being bad or not. You’re just full of shit. You’ve been inconsistent this whole time except for your framing of telling people to take care of their mental well being being morally wrong coddling. Everything else changes to whatever you think will benefit you next. And I obviously think tagging comprehensively is good too. I only brought it up because you pick and choose what ways of warning and taking care of readers is acceptable based on nothing but your stuck up feelings.
