What's the show with the guy who had to apologize? I'mma guess it's either very old or you're leaving out some important details, because absolutely nothing recent would go that far, even if it was a bad show.

I can't remember the name of it, but it was about a group that looked for missing people, although they weren't cops/FBI agents, they had a plane and would fly around to wherever people who hired them lived. The main woman who was in charge of the group had been kidnapped as a kid (I think by a cult leader to be one of his wives or something?) and was rescued, and also ran a martial arts school or something in addition to the group. And it seemed to be going in the direction of her getting together with one of the guys in the group, who was significantly older than her (I think he was a retired detective or had been in the military or something), which kind of creeped me out a bit, but I'm not sure it ever happened because I quit watching. The gay guy was the tech expert, I think. It was on some obscure channel and I think it only lasted one season. It wasn't that old, I'm pretty sure within the last 10 years, and maybe I'm missing some details, but I swear, that's how I remember it happening.
