I think I was actually suprised to see Jon Robyn's face on fandomsecrets.
I'd always planned to see Les Mis, but it was Jon's moving into it that pushed me to actually go. It's fabulous.

I have so much love for Jon Robyns. I first saw him in Avenue Q in June 06 and I was blown away by how good he was.
Hopefully he'll be as good when I see him in Les Mis.

It's a fantastic musical. Shallow reason for going or not, enjoy it. It's powerful and beautiful and bring tissues.

SECONDED, SO VERY SECONDED.

Better still, go home afterwards and read the book. But don't get the Penguin version, start on page 40 (Book 2: The Fall), and skip all the boring-looking bits because they're not important anyway. So long as you do all that it's the best book ever.

I haven't seen the musical, but I've recently fell in love with Notre-Dame de Paris - musical and novel - and finally bought Les Misérables today.

Seeing these comments made me so very excited to read it ♥
