Ffff, yes, that scene is definitely in my top 3 from the show. It was cute beyond belief.

The end made me cry, when Adelle mentions it's his birthday. I want to be Topher's bff. :[

This subplot was WIN in my book for a few reasons:
1. Topher having fun.
2. After all the shit Sierra's been through, we get to see HER having fun. Yes, she's programmed, so it's not really Sierra doing this stuff, but... meh, close enough for me.
3. He asked for a doll to help with... whatever the excuse is for him to do this... but not specifically a female one, meaning that sex doesn't even figure into these little play times of his (or he's bisexual, which would also be cool).
It was just a really neat little subplot if a little sad in its implications (Topher has no "real" friends).

He's the one person who've seen who has used a doll for something *good* and fun with no sex involved
