Is it possible to freeze threads, and confine a person who's doing that sort of thing to a single thread to curtail that behavior? I understand the arguments you may have against it, but to me it seems like sockpuppeting. It really recontextualizes things to find out that it's really just one single person acting out.

Actually you know what, nevermind, I don't want to overstep things. Being able to ask if a person is posting multiple subthreads repeatedly might be good enough. Thank you for letting us know it was just a single person.
