I stay away from it all and I'm much happier for it. Both sides seem to have a really bad habit of defining themselves by whichever camp they fall into and I want to tell them all to just go outside for a bit for their own good. It's really not that serious.

have you maybe considered that using the terms anti/proship is just easier to describe the situation at hand? admit you instantly understood which fans like what and act how in my fandom.
then again, you sure are right about some of the more radical fans, on both sides. I try to stay away from those myself.
