No, you don't have to have seen Knives Out. There is one character that was in both movies, but it's mostly the 'style' of the mystery and how the story unfolds that is like Knives Out. But there's no crossover of information or anything, so you can just go for it. :D

Knives Out *was* fun, and worth watching.
