I'm talking in good faith. I don't have particularly strong feelings about Kobayashi, but it's always seemed a very kind show to me, and I also enjoy seeing a lot of trans cosplayers particularly enjoy the show. I am trying to come up with a reasonable rubric for discussing the accusations you were leveling. I rewatched it fairly recently (just because my wife hadn't seen it) and I don't recall the scene you're referring to. Definitely when it first came out it was entirely people saying "laughing at a little boy who's a bit overwhelmed with, uh, accidental riches" was paedophilia, which is such a leap, even if you didn't find the joke funny?

So anyway, yeah, I was talking in good faith when I tried to lay out what a reasonable definition might start to look like, and then consider whether anything along those lines came up, and I'm irked you tell me to shut up rather than calmly asking about what content is actually being discussed as objectionable. (God forbid anybody who can't stand Kobayashi watch Mitsudomoe though for instance, genuinely funny show mostly centred on "kids grow up in fits and starts and make everything horribly awkward for the adults around them" type humour).

The scene exists, and the people in the fandom group back then reacted nervously about the gif of it, and the provided explanation of how it's supposedly not a child giving a blowjob. The show meets most people here's requirements of containing pedophilic elements, including your own that you posted. I don't think I need to say anything more about it.

I will hope that you'll agree with me that the hateful trolls over the past couple of months here who constantly jump in every secret to have the worst possible reading over any secret's wording are killing earnest discussion, and are indeed losers with no life. I will not be responding to further comments because of it.
