Yeah, that's BS criticism for a drama that's very much a wish-fulfillment fantasy. But then, AvX has a lot of BS to say about other dramas, too, and I've lost interest enough that I don't watch that channel anymore.

I appreciate her general reporting on cdrama news and find her opinions interesting, but I take it with a grain of salt because our tastes just aren't the same. She didn't like Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty and I quite enjoyed it, for example. I also didn't mind Who Rules the World and she noped out of it for what are, IMO, somewhat silly reasons.

The one that I remember she cited was what she felt was a ridiculous use of that sort of spiritual martial arts power that basically looks like magic, to make photocopies (this was a costume drama) of a document. I mean... yeah, that's a bit silly. But not what you look at the genre in general and what people use their skills for all the time, i.e. leaping over buildings, running over treetops, sending a table (or a person!) flying through the air with one blow, etc. etc. She's okay with all that, but not the copies? Seems a bit nitpicky.

Also, chemistry and shipping are way more important to her. I don't think she shipped the main couple in New Life Begins that much, or she would've been a lot more enthusiastic. I thought the main couple was really cute and sweet, though.

There are other channels that report about cdrama/news that work better for me. I also dislike the tendency to do a halfway or initial opinion post and then not follow through.
