Frankly same. Even if character sacrificed themselves I would like to see it wasn't in vain.
I don't find shitty endings sad or moving or shocking, just shitty.
I just watched a horror movie where characters were fucked over and over by trying to help others. And frankly I don't like this absolutely bleak look. (that's why Train to Busan is good)
