if professional mangaka put their series on indefinite hiatuses, i'm not putting my faith in hobbyist fanfic authors. Thank God for AO3's Complete works only search setting <3

God, so true. I've been burned so many times by manga series that are made by authors who are getting paid (usually large amounts) for their work, why would I ever trust that an author who is writing just for the fun of it would finish their fic?
