NOT OP, but also an anon who suffers from Marvel fatigue.
The only Marvel movie I've seen in the past 2 years in MoM because I love MCU's Doctor Strange.

I love horror movie. I love the Evil Dead saga and like Sam Raimi's movies in general. They don't take themselves too seriously and I love that. MoM is a VERY Sam Raimi movie.
MoM is a Marvel movie with heavy horror elements that IMHO don't take itself too seriously. It's fun, has some excellent fighting and some random nonsensical scene in it. The humor is good enough and the stakes seems actually high. I liked Wanda's story (I did not see the series, but watched a recap before seeing the movie) and the general aestethic and tone of the movie.
IDK I had a great time with it. I was excepting the same old action Marvel movie formula and it was a bit different than usual.

BTW I watched this movie without knowing it was Sam Raimi's and toward the end I was like "man, this sure looks A LOT like his kind of movies".
