I really liked the abruptness of the ending. It feels like we're really drawn in tight on Eleanor, feeling her becoming more haunted and feeling this horrifying spell being woven around her, and then suddenly we pull back out to reality - it's like coming to yourself in the middle of a nightmare. It's very effective IMO.
