lmao I got banned today in one of my favorite reddit communities after a discussion. The discussion happened over 24 hours ago and wasn't even worth it, but I guess I keep forgetting that not every place has people posting pretty much anything and discussing healthily and learning from it. Damn it. Besides that God I hate how every place for/by women also has to be "morally clean" somehow. Like women can't discuss things and are meant to go with the flow and the mainstream way of thinking. sigh

Someone had posted "I am tired of people talking shit about Genshin only because it's anime gacha" and I wholeheartedly agreed. Of course I told them why I agree: that there is nothing inherently bad with anime games and it's just people's preferences (and occasionally xenophobia), that fanservice is present in virtually every game but at least it's gender inclusive in Genshin, that I still prefer sexism by means of fanservice than workers harrassment (cough cough Activision and such), that Genshin doesn't actually have that many minor characters (but lol that 'minor coded' anti bullshit) etc.

But their issue I suppose was with what I said about the gacha aspect. Honestly I have nothing against gacha games - "but people get addicted!" yeah, but people who are prone to addiction can get addicted to ANYTHING, non-gacha games included. Of course I said a lot more things, but to summarize it was basically "eat the rich" and then some rich mod got annoyed and then went ahead and banned me forever lol. Fucking eat the rich rly

Getting that feeling too but regardless, it sucks to get banned.

Emotions are high and arguments are always full of bullshit.

I do want to know more, just cuz I'm a bit nosy.
