This is my general gripe with the 2005 version. Too many nods to modern sensibilities/ aesthetics.

Though I did like that they showed a bit more of a rustic lifestyle for the Bennets that brought home a bit more the rich snob vs country gentry. And the new dialogue. And the hand!!!

But 1995 is still the perfect adaptation to me.
