I think it's riffing on a bunch of Western-ish stuff. There's a lot of Ecstasy of Gold in there (especially with the background vocals) and that kind of Sergio Leone stuff, and there's some of that 80s New Wave-ish stuff in there as well, like Devo and Wall of Voodoo, like their cover of Ring of Fire. But I don't think it's directly based on any one specific song.

Also, not directly related, but I really hate both that commercial, and the whole ad-industry article on it. Just absolutely hate it.

I hate the commercial because companies hiring more freelancers instead of full-time is bad for workers. I hate the article around it because I hate the advertising industry and the way they talk about advertising
