To me, it kind of sounds like the song an AI would spit out if it was fed Lin-Manuel Miranda's entire discography. It's extremely...him, for better or for worse.

Personally, I preferred his work on Moana because it felt like he was pushed out of his comfort zone more, and the orchestrated arrangements felt unique for him. It felt like the kind of soundtrack that could settle in nicely with most of the 90s Disney Renaissance movies. Meanwhile, most of the songs in Encanto sounded like they could be deleted In The Heights songs if the lyrics were changed
