I hate bandom. I hate it when my friends get into bandom. When they do, I want to defriend them, because I hate seeing it on my friend's list.

Why? I think it's stupid and fucked up. I guess I don't like anything dealing with real people in a fictional context. It's perverse.

I agree with you. yes, everyone has their kinks, and they need to accept that some people will not be okay with their kink. deal.

I don't like bandom either so I just ignore it when any of my friends talk about it. I don't like RPS at all really.

I don't think bandom is perverse, but whenever my f-list friends get into it I feel old. I don't know the bands (esp. J-Rock) well enough so it's boring to me.

Wouldn't defriend people over that, though.

I think for me it really just depends on the band.

I'm really not into any asian boy bands; those bore me. Yet I'm all over fucking Flight of the Conchords-- then again, I don't post about it and picspam every day... So I guess it depends on both the bandom and the band. Hrm.

I feel weird about real person fic, too, so I'm with you there. (Especially when all parties involved are in other, quite real relationships at the time.)

It definitely depends on the band, but it also depends on the person. I'm not that much into bandom and it sickens me when I don't know something about them/an specific fic about the band, I get bashed.
